Ashley Hendricks
Hi, I'm Ashley Hendricks, the co-founder of My Mindful Class. My journey in creating this platform is deeply rooted in a lifelong fascination with the mind, neuroscience, and a commitment to empowering individuals to live their best lives. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and certification as a Hypnotherapist, my professional path has been guided by a passion for understanding the intricate ways in which our minds influence our well-being and learning capabilities.
My career took a significant turn when I joined an organization focused on violent intruder training for schools and organizations. This experience was eye-opening, highlighting the critical need for students to learn mindfulness techniques to feel safe, confident, and excited about learning.
Witnessing the transformative power of these techniques in real-world scenarios, reinforced my belief in the importance of mental resilience and emotional regulation from a young age.
Behind The Vision of My Mindful Class
Thank you for taking a moment to learn more about the heart of our mission at My Mindful Class. We're excited to share with you not just the essence of what we do, but who we are, the journey that brought us here, and the core values that drive every lesson we create.
In addition to my own experiences, my journey has been profoundly influenced by my mom Sheri Hudak, a dedicated 5th-grade teacher with over 20 years of experience in teaching.
Her background, as an RN with a diploma in Nursing, a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, and a Master's in Teaching, has been instrumental in shaping the vision and mission of My Mindful Class.
Together, we founded My Mindful Class to merge our collective experiences and expertise in health, education, and mindfulness to offer a solution that addresses the comprehensive needs of both students and educators.
Our platform is built on the foundation of practical, evidence-based mindfulness practices designed to enhance the educational experience by fostering environments where students can thrive emotionally and academically.
